Stamp-a-Stack #5 - You are Loved

I will really miss 'You are Loved'. Although it's Valentine themed, I've used it for all sorts of occasions.
This Colour Combo is Regal Rose, Pool Party and Lucky Limeade.

Tomorrow I'm off to the Stampin' Up! Regional Training in Reading with 10 of the Stampin' Angels (there will be 126 Demonstrators in total attending) and I can't wait! Over the last four years of being a Demonstrator I've made tons of friends from all over the country through these events and each year I look forward to them even more. My swaps are done (for a change) just a few little things to sort out tomorrow and I'll be all set to go with an early start in the morning.

Watch out for something NEW next week that might tempt you to become part of the Stampin' Up! family. And if this has already got you thinking, have a read of My Story here.

Have a great weekend and don't forget, last orders for the Spring Mini by Monday 30th.

Postage Stamp Punch

I was going to show another Stamp-a-Stack card today but I found some other cards yesterday and thought you'd like to see them instead.

One of the many benefits of being a Demonstrator is we get to see all the new stuff about a month before it's available to our customers. Although the Spring Mini didn't start until 4th January it was annouced at our annual Convention back in November. Shelli Gardener revealed this on stage (along with lots of other stuff) and showcased her own samples using the Postage Stamp Punch.(p.20 of the Spring Mini). I loved what she'd made so I did my own version of them.

Looks like spirelli has made a comeback don't you think?

For this next one I scored the lines to distinguish the punched papers. This punch is fantastic for using up your scraps! I also used the matching 'Perfect Postage' stamp set on this card -  one I earnt for FREE from Stampin' Up!

There are tons of benefits of being a Demonstrator and it's a fantastic Business Opportunity.

If you'd like to know more about the great value Starter Kit and ALL the benefits of being a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, please email jodumbleton@aol.co.uk for an information pack.

I'm off to bake a cake now - Slimming World style.

Have a good one!

Stamp-a-Stack #4 Spice Cake

The Triple Treat Flower Stamp is another hidden treasure in the main catalogue which matches the Spice Cake Designer Paper (p.15). And did you know the Fancy Flower, 5 Petal and 1/2" circle punch also match?

I've also featured Borderlines from the Spring Mini (p13), again another set I wished I'd used more. I bought mine in Clear Mount so you can line up the images to get a continuous pattern. It's very handy.

Spice Cake was also the Scrapbook Kit Club a few months back and by request we reproduced the layout in the Mini Catalogue on page 10.
If you'd like a Spice Cake Scrapbook Kit I have one left.

The kit includes:

6, 12x12 Spice Cake DSP
5, 12x12 sheets of cardstock
(Pear Pizzazz, Very Vanilla, Pool Party, Soft Suede & More Mustard)
5 Vintage Brads
1 metre of Linen Thread
4 matching Large Buttons
over 1 metre of Victoria Lace Ribbon

£15 plus postage

email jodumbleton@aol.co.uk to grab this very last kit.
Right, I must be off. Mr Brown had just brought me a LARGE order to unpack.

More from the Stamp-a-Stack tomorrow!

Stamp-a-Stack #3 Motorcycle

Today's card from last weeks Stamp-a-Stack is using the A La Carte Stamp 'Motorcycle'. This one will be staying as it's in the main Idea Book & Catalogue (page.15 )

A very simple design but I think they have to be with masculine cards.

It's Spice Cake Day tomorrow!

Stamp-a-Stack #2 Berry Blossom

Another Stamp-a-Stack card today with Berry Blossom DSP and the Blossom Party Die.
I haven't used these papers no where near as much as I should of - they're lovely. Although it looks like there's black in the papers it's actually Early Espresso and it's much nicer in real life than shown in the catalogue.

Berry Blossom is also the FREE papers on offer this month with a £45 order.

And I can't believe the pretty Blossom Party Die is going too!!
I've you missed it in the Spring Mini Catalogue, it's on page 15.

7 days and counting! :(

Stamp-a-Stack & Create a Cupcake

I can't believe we're nearly at the end of April and that sadly means the Spring Mini will finish.

I was really pleased we got the Create a Cupcake stamp set and matching Builder punch in the Mini back in January. Cupcakes are so 'in' and now I'm gutted it's going. Plus the large Scalloped Circle Punch!

I love the class we did here the other week too, it was a real hit.

Of course I had to use it for Friday's Stamp-a-Stack.

I've absolutely no idea if this will go into our next main catalogue in October so if you've been debating whether to get it or not, there's only 8 days left.

Short and sweet today but I'll be back in the week with more cards from the SAS.

Vintage Vogue Revisted

I've had a busy time lately. A Team Training Event all day on Sunday, a class first thing Monday morning and another class last night - phew! All very enjoyable with lots of laughs and chatting which goes without saying really.

This weeks class we revisited Vintage Vogue - loved this set when we first received it a few years back and it's one that will remain as part of my collection for every and a day I reckon. It's so easy to use - whether it's a CAS card or a full on OTT. It's beautiful.

Here's what we made...

One of the Desktop Card Holders from my template here. The measurements for this have been changed and I'll update next month when I've some exciting news to tell you about - stay tuned.

We also made 3 pretty cards to go inside.

The colour combo for this class was Crumb Cake, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party, Melon Mambo & Early Espresso.

Right, I've got to get cracking. This coming Friday I have a Stamp-a Stack Event and 240 cards to prep...eeek!

Happy Easter with Easter Blossom

I thought I'd lost these photo's but whilst searching for something tonight I found them!

This was last weeks card class using Easter Blossom. The class was inspired by these cards here on Splitcoaststampers and the cute treat pouch tutorial from Michelle.

All the greetings come in this set but the cards can easily be changed to use for any occassion.
Such a delicate stamp set this one.

The colour combo is...

Crumb Cake
Pink Pirouette
Rose Red
Pear Pizzazz
Early Espresso

My boys are off to the football tomorrow so I've got a fun day of crafting ahead of me. Can't wait as I've new stash to play with and lots of ideas for events over the next couple of months.

I love my job *sigh*

See ya soon and enjoy the rest of your Easter break!

Timeless Portrait Scrapbook Kit Club

It's been awhile hasn't it? Computers seem to be the bain of my life. 2 weeks ago I had a nasty Trojan Horse virus attack my laptop. It completely locked so it was whisked away to the PC Doctor to be fixed. It came back last Friday, reset back to factory settings and re-formatted but somehow the virus was much more deep rooted than was thought and it started to play up again. I kept getting the 'blue screen of death' and also foreign radio stations coming out the speakers! So bizarre, I think it was a Russian station and a Chinese/Japanese station and that was with no windows open at all. My IT chap had never heard of this so it went back, and I'm glad it also happened to him! Anyway, it's all sorted now and I seem to have everything back in working order.

So, apart from a lot of classes and designing been going on, I had Scrapbook Club on Thursday using the Timeless Portrait DSP.

This month we made a Flip Album. My very first one I made was back in September 2008 here - where on earth does the time go?!
Loved making the crumpled flower on the front.

It's not easy taking photos of this but hopefully you get the idea. No photo's in it yet due to the absence of my computer, but they can be added any time.
Lots of stamping and embossing too.

I currently run Scrapbook Club from home on the last Thursday morning of each month. From September, and when planning permission has been given for my new craft studio, I will also be running an evening class.

The Kit is £15 and packed with enough to make 3 layouts.

Even after we made this Flip Album there's still enough leftover to make 2 more pages!

The Timeless Portrait Scrapbook Kit includes...

6 sheets of 12x12 Timeless Portrait DSP
2, 12x12 sheets of Basic Black c/s
1, 12x12 sheet of c/s in River Rock, Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla
1 metre of Black Satin Ribbon
1 metre of Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon
5 Vintage Brads
3 vintage tags
2 antique brads

Please email me at jodumbleton@aol.co.uk if you'd like a kit.

£15 plus p&p

Right, off to eat some Chocolate.

Happy Easter!!
